This restaurant and the lookout tower are always worth a trip

Had dinner there today. That didn't work at all, the children's fries were rock hard and the rest of the food, well, without words. The waitress came when someone was totally disinterested in the job and the Coke was more than just water. Such a beautiful tower and the restaurant to go with it not recommendable at all. For these prices in the menu we really expected something better and the staff left a lot to be desired.

A shandy and a coffee ordered: the coffee was very warm, shandy was not carbonated and the glass was unfortunately not clean, cutlery had to be exchanged for clean ... and the clothes of the waiter or boss ... I gave the star for the wonderful excursion destination.

The tower is very nice, but we only give it one star because we first waited 15 minutes for the waiter, who, although he had noticed that guests were sitting outside, did not bother to take our order. In the end we went in ourselves to order, the drinks and food came very quickly, but we had to have the dirty cutlery exchanged first. The food itself was ok, so was the price. It would have been nice if the waiter had at least had a clean t-shirt on. At the next table, guests were asked what they could add to the coffee because it wasn't on the menu. The waiter's answer was succinct: cake. All in all, you didn't feel very welcome. A pity

Super slow service, a lot of bees and for 5 EUR you receive like 150 ml of at best average soup. Would not recommand definately.

One star is for the beautiful location of the restaurant, everything else is a disaster! The waiter was rude when I asked if he could explain a dish to me, I got the answer I'm not a meat eater ???? Beer table sets without tablecloth Paint is peeling off, very unclean. Potatoes completely too salty, all dishes very expensive.

It was very relaxed. Only that you could have wiped the tables. Since there was a lot of leftover food, there were also a lot of wasps.

Food is rather mediocre. In the area you will definitely find something better. (Cheaper)

The restaurant was recommended to us by friends because of the delicious food. Unfortunately there was no visit here. We wanted to reserve a table for 3 people for Saturday evening in advance, but were turned away with very flimsy reasons. We should come over spontaneously and see if something is free. Well, if you don't want any guests ..... But we have found another nice restaurant.

Average food, relatively disorganized staff. According to the card, prices are normal. We consider it relatively cheeky that a bockwurst with potato salad advertised on the blackboard next to the entrance costs € 10.40 on the handwritten invoice.

A special lookout tower. 28 meters high, 120 steps. Made exclusively from cast iron. Great view of the Upper Lusatian mountains. After the ascent, the tower restaurant invites you to refresh yourself. Regional bourgeois cuisine is average.

If you are moving somewhere in the upper corner of the republic, it is not far here. Really very nice lookout tower. I can only recommend to lovers of views 😊

Beautiful construction with amazing views. For those who don't want to come there's a possibility to come by car and park at the tower.
